Cake Mix Cookies Recipe

1 box white cake mix

2 1/2 cups all purpose flour

1 lb butter or margarine (I use 2 sticks of each)

1 tsp vanilla

2 sticks of butter completely in microwave. Cut next

2 sticks into 1" pieces, and add to melted butter, allowing them to mix into a creamy consistency (kind of like the squeeze margarine). Add to cake mix and stir until well blended.

You can add chocolate chips and drop by teaspoonfuls, or you can roll and cut and decorate the plain dough, or you can make cookie press cookies with it.

Spice cake makes a nice spice cookie, and chocolate cake mix makes a nice chocolate cookie. I add a little cinnamon to the chocolate cake mix for a variation.

1/2 cup of peanut butter in place of

2 of the sticks of butter.

9 oz cake mix and only

2 sticks of butter.
