  1. 1 c. chopped onions

  2. 2 tbsp. olive oil

  3. 28 oz. can crushed tomatoes, undrained

  4. 16 oz. frozen or fresh mixed vegetables

  5. 16 oz. can tomato sauce

  6. 2 c. chopped ham

  7. 1 c. shredded Romano cheese

  8. 1 tsp. oregano, basil, crushed rosemary, brown sugar

  1. In a 4 quart pan saute the onion in oil for 5 minutes. Add the rest of the ingredients, bring to a boil. Reduce heat and simmer uncovered for 20 minutes. Serve over pasta.
