  1. 1 - 8 oz can of crushed pineapple (with juice)

  2. 1/2 cup chopped walnuts

  3. 1/4 cup white sugar

  4. 1/2 tsp baking soda

  5. 1 pkg french vanilla instant pudding

  6. 4 eggs

  7. 1 pkg yellow cake mix

  8. 1/2 pt sour cream (light is okay too)

  9. 1/4 vegetable oil

  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Mix pineapple and baking soda together and set aside. Mix together nuts and sugar and set aside. In a large bowl, mix together cake mix, eggs, sour cream, oil and pudding til smooth. Add the pineapple mixture and using a blender set on medium and mix for 5 minutes. Pour this mixture into a greased and floured tube pan. Sprinkle walnut mixture on top. Place in preheated oven and bake for 55 minutes or until top springs back when touched lightly with your finger. Let cool 15 minutes before removing from the pan. Allow to cool completely before serving.
