  2. 1/2c Sun-dried tomatoes, cut in

  4. 1 c Black olives, cured in oil,

  5. Pitted and halved

  6. 1/2c Fresh basil, chopped

  7. 1/2c Fresh Italian parsley,

  8. Chopped 1 tb Grated lemon peel

  9. 3 cl Garlic, minced

  10. 1/2c Olive oil

  11. 2 tb Oil from the tomatoes

  12. 2 ts Freshly ground black pepper

  13. 3/4lb Parmesan cheese, grated

  14. 1 lb Penne pasta

  2. Penne Pasta with Sun-Dried Tomatoes and Chile Combine all ingredients, except the cheese and pasta, and let sit at room temperature for a couple of hours to blend the flavors.

  3. Cook the pasta in 4 quarts of boiling salted water until tender but still firm - 'al dente'.

  4. Drain.

  5. Toss the pasta with the sauce and cheese until well coated and serve.
