  1. Honey Graham Crackers

  2. 1/2 C butter

  3. 2 C graham flour

  4. 1 T baking powder

  5. 2 T brown sugar

  6. 1/2 T cinnamon, ground

  7. 1/4 C honey

  8. 1 egg, beaten

  9. 1/4 C hot water

  10. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. Using a pastry blender or two knives,

  11. cut butter into flour until mixture has the texture of cornmeal.

  12. Stir in baking powder, brown sugar and cinnamon. Add egg and hot

  13. water and mix until well blended.

  14. Knead dough 2 or 3 minutes. Set half aside. Roll out into a square

  15. about 1/8 inch thick. Place on ungreased baking sheet. Score dough

  16. 2-inch squares, using a sharp knife. Bake at

  17. 350 degrees

  18. F. for 10 minutes or until lightly browned. Roll out and bake

  19. remaining half of dough. Cool baked crackers and gently separate

  20. into squares. Yield: Makes 36-40.
