  2. Toor dhal 1/2 cup

  3. Dry red chillies 4.

  4. Asafetida powder 1/4 tsp.

  5. Salt to taste

  6. Oil for cooking

  1. Wash and soak together the rice thor dhal and red chillies for 2 hours. Drain and grind to a smooth paste, add salt and asafetida powder, mix to fairly thin batter. Heat a non stick shallow fry pan and follow the same method as for green gram dhal dosa [ This batter need not be fermented
