  1. 1 1/2 teaspoons garlic powder

  2. 1 teaspoon paprika

  3. 1 teaspoon ground ginger

  4. 1 teaspoon salt

  5. 1 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper

  6. 1 (4 to 4 1/2-pound) boneless rolled pork loin roast

  7. 2 medium onions, sliced

  8. 1 cup water

  1. Preheat oven to 325°F (160°C) . Combine garlic powder, paprika, ginger, salt and pepper; rub over the entire roast. Place roast with fat side up on a greased rack in a roasting pan. Top with onion. Pour water into pan. Bake, uncovered, for 2 to 2 1/2 hours or until a meat thermometer reads 160 °F to 170 °F (70 °C to 80 °C). Let stand for 10 to 15 minutes before slicing.
