  6. 1 teaspoon 5ml Cumin

  7. 1/4 teaspoon 1 1/3ml Cayenne pepper

  8. 3 1/2 cups 560g / 19oz Black beans - drained

  1. Recipe Instructions In a stockpot over medium-high heat, heat the oil. Add the onion and garlic and saute for 4 minutes. Add the rice and saute for 2 minutes. Add the chicken broth, bring to a boil, cover and lower the heat and cook for 20 minutes. Add the spices and black beans. This recipe yields 6 servings. Serving size: 1/2 cup.
