  4. 2 cups whole milk

  5. 1 large egg

  7. 4-5 ramekins or custard cups

  1. How to make it Whisk together the sugar, cocoa powder, cornstarch, and salt in a heavy saucepan. Gradually whisk in the milk. Bring to a boil, whisking constantly, and boil until pudding is thick, about 3 to 5 minutes. Remove from heat. Immediately beat the egg lightly in a medium, heat-proof bowl. Very gradually add the hot chocolate mixture to the egg, whisking constantly. now,whisk in the chocolate chips until they are melted and the mixture is smooth. pure the mixture in to the serving cups and refrigerate, covered, for 2 hours or until cool to touch. if you want, serve it with whipped cream.
