  1. Guava Sauce Cake

  2. Yield: 9 x 13 inch pan

  3. 2 blocks butter

  4. 2 cup sugar

  5. 4 eggs

  6. 2 cup cake flour

  7. 1 tsp nutmeg

  8. 1 1/4 tsp baking soda

  9. 1/4 tsp cinnamon

  10. 1/4 tsp ground cloves

  11. 1 cup guava pulp (fresh or cooked)

  12. 1/2 cup guava juice (canned or fresh)

  13. Cream butter and sugar well. Add in 1 egg at a time, beating well

  14. after each. Sift dry ingredients together. Combine guava pulp and juice. Add guava mixture and dry ingredients alternately to the

  15. above mixture of butter and sugar, beginning and ending with flour.

  16. 350 F. for 30-35 minutes in

  17. 9 x 13 inch pan.
