  1. Marinated Bean Salad

  2. 16 ounce can French style green beans, drained

  3. 16 ounce can small green peas, drained

  4. 1 green pepper, chopped small

  5. 3-4 stalks of celery, chopped small

  6. 1 small jar pimentos, chopped and drained

  7. 1 med. onion, chopped small

  8. 3/4 cup salad oil

  9. 1 1/2 tsp. salt

  10. 1 cup cider vinegar

  11. 1 1/2 Tbsp. water

  12. 1 tsp. pepper

  13. 1 1/4 cup granulated sugar

  14. Mix the drained vegetables in a glass bowl and set aside.

  15. For the dressing: Mix all ingredients together and stir well to

  16. dissolve the sugar. Add to the vegetables. Cover and refrigerate

  17. overnight or at least 6 hours. Drain the dressing from the vegetables

  18. before serving.
