  1. 1 cup 237ml Sour cream

  2. 1 teaspoon 5ml Paprika

  3. 1 teaspoon 5ml Ground thyme

  4. 1 Garlic powder

  5. 1 teaspoon 5ml Salt

  6. 1/2 teaspoon 2 1/2ml Cayenne pepper

  7. 1 1/2 lbs 681g / 24oz Tilapia fillets - cut serving size

  8. 3/4 cup 109g / 3.8oz Dry bread crumbs

  9. 1/4 cup 36g / 1 1/3oz Finely-chopped pecans

  1. Combine first 6 ingredients and mix well. In another dish combine bread crumbs and nuts. Dip fish pieces in sour cream mixture, then coat evenly with the bread crumb and nut mixture.

  2. Place fish in a circular fashion in a round baking dish with the thickest part to the outside. Cover and microwave on High for 2 to 3 minutes. Check to see if fish is cooking evenly; make adjustments as necessary.

  3. Microwave for an additional one minute or until the fish flakes easily. Remove from oven and serve immediately.

  4. This recipe yields 4 servings.
