  1. Serves/Makes:8 hotdogs

  2. 1 lb ( 1/2 kg) ground beef

  3. 1 medium onion, diced

  4. 2 tsp (10 ml) prepared mustard

  5. 2 tbsp (30 ml) cider vinegar

  6. 2 tbsp (30 ml) sugar

  7. 2 tbsp (30 ml) water

  8. 1 tsp (5 ml) Worcestershire sauce

  9. 1/4 tsp (1 ml) celery seed

  10. 1/4 tsp (1 ml) Tabasco sauce

  11. ketchup as desired

  12. 1 package hot dogs

  13. Preparation

  14. Brown beef with onion, over medium heat.

  15. Breaking up with a fork to crumble.

  16. Drain fat, add remaing ingredients except ketchup.

  17. Mix well then add enough ketchup to keep the mixture loose as it cooks.

  18. Simmer, partially covered, add ketchup as needed.
