  1. 5 lbs. Boneless pork butt shoulder

  2. 1 1/2 tsps. Smoked ground paprika

  3. 2 tsps. Freshly ground black pepper

  4. 1 tsp. Ground cayenne pepper

  5. 1 tsp. Dried thyme

  6. 1 tsp. Garlic powder

  7. 1/2 tsp. Salt

  8. 1 c. Water Soft sandwich buns Favorite barbeque sauce

  1. In a small mixing bowl, combine all seasonings. Rub evenly over pork. Place pork in a 6-quart slow cooker. Add water. Cover and cook on LOW for 6-8-hours, or on HIGH for 4-5-hours, or until pork is very tender. Place pork on a large cutting board or platter and let rest 10-15-minutes. Pull, slice or chop the pork to serve. Serve in sandwich buns with your favorite barbeque sauce. Yield: serves 20
