  1. 6 Orange peels

  2. 2 c Sugar

  3. 6 oz Orange Jell-O mix

  4. 1/4 c White corn syrup

  5. 1/4 c Water

  1. Cover orange peelings with water.

  2. Cook 1 hour.

  3. Pour off water and cool.

  4. Remove white membrane.

  5. Cut in strips or any desired shape.

  6. Cover with water and cook an additional hour or until tender.

  7. Mix sugar, orange Jell-O, syrup and water in 2 quart saucepan.

  8. Add orange peel and cook over low heat until most of liquid is abes, cherry tomatoes, and mint sprigs and garnish the top with the fried basil.
