  2. CRUNCHY TERIYAKI BURGERS

  7. 1 1/2 lb Ground Beef

  8. 1/2 c Water Chestnuts --

  9. 1/4 c Soy Sauce

  10. 1/4 c Orange Juice -- OR 1/4 c Sherry -- Dry

  11. 1 ea Clove Garlic -- Minced

  12. 1 t Molasses Or Brown Sugar

  13. 1/8 t Ginger -- Ground

  14. Water chestnuts should be finely chopped.

  16. Mix the meat and water chestnuts together. Shape the mixture into 6

  17. patties, each about 3/4-inch thick. Place the patties in an ungreased

  18. baking dish 10 X 6 X 1 3/4-inches. Mix the remaining ingredients together

  19. and pour over the patties. Cover and refrigerate for at least 3 hours,

  20. turning the patties once. Remove the patties from the marinade. Broil or grill the patties 4-inches from the heat, turning once, until the desired

  21. 10 to 15 minutes. Brush frequently with the
