  1. 1/2 pound sliced smoked bacon

  2. 1 onion , chopped

  3. 2 cloves garlic , minced

  4. 2 (28oz) cans pork and beans

  5. 1/2 cup of brown sugar , firmly packed

  6. 1/4 cup molasses

  7. 1 Tablespoon steak sauce

  8. 1/2 pound Velveeta, cubed

  1. In a large skillet, fry bacon until crisp. Pour off fat, return 3 Tablespoons bacon fat back to skillet. Add onion and garlic, sauté until tender. Add pork and beans, brown sugar, Molasses, steak sauce, and Crumbled bacon. Stir to mix. Simmer 30 to 35 minutes. Add cheese to beans before serving.
