  1. 430 grams canned chick peas -- (garbonzo beans) i -- use a

  2. 55 milliliters liquid in which peas were canned

  3. 2 cloves garlic

  4. 1/4 cup tahini

  5. 75 milliliters lemon juice

  6. 1/8 teaspoon cumin olive oil paprika black olives pimento strips parsley cilantro

  1. Preparation : 1. Puree all ingrediants in a blender, slowly adding the chick peas last.

  2. Add additional tahini and/or lemon juice to taste, if necessary.

  3. Spread on a serving platter and lightly drizzle with olive oil and garnish. Serve at room temperature with pita bread for dipping. Difficulty : very easy. Precision : measure ingredients.
