  1. 6 T. butter

  2. 1 c. crushed vanilla wafers

  3. 1 package (recipe says 6 oz.-- ha-ha!)semi-sweet chocolate chips

  4. 1 can (4 oz.) Angel Flake coconut

  5. 1 c. chopped pecan s (optional-- not usually what we did)

  6. 1 can (15 oz.) Eagle Brand sweetened condensed milk

  1. Melt butter in 9“ c 13” Pyrex pan. Add vanilla wafer crumbs and press into very thin layer. Over crumbs, sprinkle chocolate chips, then coconut, then pecans if using. Drizzle sweetened condensed milk over all. Bake at 325° for approximately 30 minutes. Cool for several hours before cutting into small bars.
