  1. 1 pound shrimp - peeled, cooked and tails removed

  2. 1 pineapple , cut into 1 inch squares

  3. 1/4 cup soy sauce

  4. 3 tablespoons Chinese chili sauce

  5. 2 tablespoons chili powder

  1. Combine soy sauce, chili sauce and chili powder in a small bowl - taste. You don’t want it so hot you can’t eat it but hot enough to notice.

  2. Place shrimp in a large bowl and coat with sauce. Let sit for up to an hour.

  3. Make an assembly line - first tooth picks, then shrimp, pineapple and a serving dish.

  4. To assemble, place a shrimp and pineapple cube on a tooth pick and place in the dish, stick end up.

  5. It is as easy as that! The pineapple cuts the heat of the shrimp for a fun and different party snack.
