  2. 2 ice cream sandwiches -- (2 1/2 Ounces)

  3. 1 egg white

  4. 1 Dash salt

  5. 2 Tablespoon sugar

  1. Cut ice cream sandwiches in half crosswise; stack each half on top of theother half. Place the two stacked sandwiches on a foil-lined cookie sheet,and place in freezer.

  2. Beat egg white (at room temperature) and salt until foamy. Gradually addsugar, beating until stiff peaks form. Remove stacked sandwiches fromfreezer; quickly spread meringue over sandwiches, making sure edges aresealedto foil. Freeze at least 2 hours or overnight.

  3. Bake at 500 F for 2 minutes or until meringue begins to brown. Serveimmediately.
