  1. 3 cups wild rice -- cooked

  2. 2 cups chicken or turkey -- in one inch cubes

  3. 1 cup cubed 1/2 inch cooked ham

  4. 2 medium carrots -- shredded

  5. 2 stalks celery -- sliced

  6. 1/2 inch

  7. 1 quart half-and-half -- (4 cups)

  8. 1 cup chicken broth

  9. 1/4 cup sherry or chicken broth

  10. 1 medium onion -- chopped (1/2cup)

  11. 1/2 teaspoon salt

  12. 1/4 teaspoon pepper

  13. 1/4 cup all purpose flour

  14. 3 tablespoons butter -- melted

  15. 1. In Dutch oven combine all ingredients except flour and butter.Cook over med ium heat, stirring occasionally, until heated through (15-20 minutes). 2. In small bowl stir together flour and butter; stir into hot soup. Continue cookin g, stirring occasionally, until thickened(5-8 minutes).
