  1. 1 (8 oz) can mushroom pieces, drained (or 1 lb fresh)

  2. 1/4 cup salad oil

  3. 1 tsp. butter or margarine

  4. 1 medium size onion, chopped

  5. 1 green pepper, chopped

  6. 1 cup uncooked rice

  7. 1 tsp. parsley flakes

  8. 1 (10 oz) can tomatoes

  9. 1 1/4 cup of water

  10. 1 tsp. tomato paste

  1. Directions Place all Ingredients , except rice and water into a 2-quart saucepan. Heat for 10 minutes over medium heat until vegetables are tender. Add Rice and water. Cover and continue cooking until water is absorbed and rice is done, approx.
