  2. 3 tablespoons McCormick® Sesame Seed

  3. 3/4 cup butter

  4. 1 1/2 cups packed light brown sugar

  5. 3 eggs

  6. 2 teaspoons McCormick® Pure Vanilla Extract

  7. 2 cups all-purpose flour

  8. 2 teaspoons baking powder

  9. 1/2 teaspoon salt

  10. 2 cups (12 ounces) chocolate chips, divided

  1. Directions :

  2. Toast sesame seed over medium heat in small skillet until golden brown, stirring often. Remove from pan; set aside. Preheat oven to 350°F. Grease a 13x9-inch baking pan.

  3. Melt butter; cool. Combine butter and brown sugar in large mixing bowl. Add eggs and vanilla; blend well. Combine flour, baking powder, and salt; mix into butter mixture until just blended. Stir in toasted sesame seed and 1 cup chocolate chips. Spread into baking pan. Bake 25-30 minutes or until golden brown.

  4. Melt remaining 1 cup chocolate chips.* Spread evenly over bars. Cool completely before cutting into bars.

  5. *Tip: Melt chocolate chips in the microwave 1 minute on high. Stir. Continue to microwave for 10-20 seconds longer, if needed, to complete melting. Stir until smooth. After spreading topping on bars, refrigerate 20 minutes to set.
