  2. 1 Slightly beaten egg white

  3. 1/4 cup 15g / 1/2oz Finely chopped onion

  4. 1/4 cup 59ml Finely snipped dried apples

  5. OR 1/2 c. Finely chopped

  6. 3 tablespoons 45ml Quick-cooking oats

  7. 2 tablespoons 30ml Snipped fresh parsley

  8. 1/2 teaspoon 2 1/2ml Salt

  9. 1/2 teaspoon 2 1/2ml Ground sage

  10. 1/4 teaspoon 1 1/3ml Ground nutmeg

  11. 1/4 teaspoon 1 1/3ml Pepper

  12. 1 Ground red pepper

  13. 1/2 lb 227g / 8oz Lean ground turkey breast

  1. Spray a cold 10 inch skillet with nonstick coating spray; set aside.

  2. In a medium bowl, combine the egg white, onion, dried or fresh apples, quick-cooking oats, parsley, salt, sage, nutmeg, pepper and ground red pepper. Add the ground turkey; mix well.

  3. Shape mixture into eight 2" wide patties. Preheat the prepared skillet over medium heat. Place patties in skillet. Cook over medium heat for 10-12 minutes or until meat is no longer pink and juices run clear, turning once. Drain off fat.
