  2. 1 pound pork -- cut in cubes

  3. **MARINADE**

  4. 1 cup water

  5. 3/4 cup dark brown sugar

  6. 1/3 cup dark molasses

  7. 1/4 teaspoon ground ginger -- up to

  8. 1/4 teaspoon pepper

  9. 1/4 teaspoon ground coriander

  10. 1 clove garlic -- crushed

  1. Mix ingredients for marinade. Heat if necessary to dissolve the sugar. Marinate the pork, preferably overnight or as long as possible. Thread 3 or 4 pieces of meat on each skewer. Grill in broiler or over hot coals until insides are no longer pink. Delicious with peanut butter sauce. Will serve 4 as a starter. Boneless chicken can be substituted for pork as a variation.
