  2. 1/2 c. butter

  3. 2 tablespoons sugar

  4. 1 teaspoon vanilla

  5. 1 c. cake flour

  6. powdered sugar

  1. Cream butter and sugar with electric mixer

  2. Add vanilla and pecans stirring until well blended

  3. Add cake flour gradually and mix well

  4. Chill dough for 1 hour

  5. Roll dough into balls the size of small walnuts

  6. Bake at 300° F for 30-35 minutes or until cookies break easily when touched

  7. Roll cookies in powdered sugar until all sides are coated

  8. Cool completely before storing in tins or eating
