  1. 2 lbs ground beef

  2. 1 large onion , chopped

  3. 2 garlic cloves , minced

  4. 1 (15 ounce) can tomato sauce

  5. 1 (6 ounce) can tomato paste

  6. 1 (15 ounce) can tomatoes

  7. 1 (15 ounce) can diced tomatoes with green chilies

  8. 1 (12 ounce) bottle dark beer

  9. 1 teaspoon ground cumin

  10. 1 teaspoon paprika

  11. 2 teaspoons chili powder

  12. 1 teaspoon oregano

  13. 1 teaspoon salt

  14. 1/2 teaspoon pepper

  15. 1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce

  16. 1 (28 ounce) can chili beans

  1. Saute meat, onions and garlic until done.

  2. Add remaining ingredients and simmer for 2 hours.

  3. The beer is optional but does add a good flavor and, of course, the alcohol is cooked out during cooking.
