  5. 1 1/2 lb TO 2 lbs round steak

  6. 2 tb Flour

  7. 1 ts Salt

  8. 1/8 ts Pepper

  9. 2 tb Salad oil

  10. 16 oz Can tomatoes; cut up

  11. 1 lg Onion; sliced

  12. 1 Stalk celery; thinly sliced

  13. 1 tb Thick bottled steak sauce

  14. Cut steak into serving-size pieces. Coat with flour, salt, and pepper. In

  15. large skillet or slow-cooking pot with browning unit, brown meat in oil.

  16. Pour off excess fat. In slow-cooking pot, combine meat with tomatoes,

  17. 6 to 8 hours

  18. or until tender. Thicken juices with additional flour dissolved in a small

  19. amount of water, if desired.
