  1. 4 cups sliced plums

  2. 1/4 cup flour

  3. 1/4 teaspoon salt

  4. 1 tablespoon lemon juice

  5. 1 unbaked 9-inch deep dish pie pastry

  6. 1/2 cup sugar

  7. 1/2 cup flour

  8. 1/4 teaspoon cinnamon

  9. 1/4 teaspoon nutmeg

  10. 3 tablespoons cold margarine

  1. In bowl, combine first 6 ingredients; pour into pastry shell.

  2. For topping, combine sugar, flour, cinnamon and nutmeg.

  3. Cut in margarine until coarse.

  4. Sprinkle over plums.

  5. Bake in preheated 375 degree oven for 60 minutes or until golden brown.

  6. (May need to cover crust edges with foil during baking to prevent burning.).
