  12. 2/3 cup 41g / 1.4oz Chopped onion

  13. 2 Garlic cloves - minced

  14. 1 tablespoon 15ml Butter or margarine

  15. 1 cup 237ml Water - plus

  16. 2 tablespoons 30ml Water

  17. 1 tablespoon 15ml Fresh herbs - minced

  18. 3 cups 711ml Robin Hood Best for Bread Homestyle white flour

  1. Recipe Instructions Saute the onions and garlic in butter or margarine until tender. Cool to room temperature. Add to bread machine, along with other ingredients in the order recommended by your machine's manufacturer. Select Basic White Cycle. Tips: Try fresh thyme, basil, rosemary or oregano. Replace fresh herbs with dried: 3/4 teaspoon for small loaf or 1 teaspoon for large. This recipe yields 1 loaf.
