  3. 1 cup 237ml Milk or half and half Extras For Added Flavor Nutmeg

  4. 2 tablespoons 30ml Chopped parsley

  5. 2 tablespoons 30ml Chopped chives

  6. 1 teaspoon 5ml Lemon juice

  1. Recipe Instructions In a one quart sauce pan, over low heat, melt butter. Add flour and stir for 3 to 4 minutes or until well blended. Stir in milk slowly; cook, stirring constantly until thickened and smooth. Add one or more of the extras to alter the taste. Serve over vegetables or fish.
