  1. 10 3/4 ounce can garbanzos, rinsed and drained

  2. 1/8 avocado, peeled

  3. 1/4 green onion, chopped

  4. 4 tablespoons salsa, to taste or consistency

  5. 1/2 tablespoon garlic powder, or to taste

  6. 1 tablespoon bacon bits, optional

  7. 1 chopped jalapeno, or to taste

  1. Preparation : In a food processor pulse garbanzos until smooth. Add avocado pulse till smooth. Remove to a bowl, add the rest of the ingredients. Chill. Serve with low-fat tortilla chips
