  1. 3 cups torn leaf lettuce

  2. 1 can (8-1/2 ounces) pear halves, drained

  3. 2 thin slices red onion, separated into rings

  4. 3 tablespoons crumbled blue cheese

  5. 3 tablespoons chopped walnuts

  6. 1/4 cup olive oil

  7. 2 tablespoons raspberry vinegar

  8. 2 teaspoons maple syrup

  9. 1/4 teaspoon Dijon mustard

  10. 1/8 teaspoon garlic powder

  11. 1/8 teaspoon onion powder

  1. Divide lettuce between two salad plates. Top with the pears, onion, blue cheese and walnuts. In a small bowl, whisk the oil, vinegar, syrup, mustard, garlic powder and onion powder until blended. Drizzle over salads. Yield: 2 servings.
