  1. 56 g chopped good-quality white chocolate

  2. 1/3 cup brewed coffee

  3. 1/2 tsp. vanilla extract

  4. 1 1/2 cups milk or half & half

  5. ground nutmeg

  1. Melt the chocolate slowly over low heat in a small saucepan, stirring frequently. Stir in the coffee and vanilla until smooth. Add the milk and increase heat to medium. Heat mixture to just a simmer. Pour into a blender and process until frothy. Pour the chocolate into 2 cups and dust with nutmeg. Add a splash of Gran Marnier or Tia Maria liqueur if desired.
