  5. 1/2 cup chili sauce

  6. 1/4 cup hoisin sauce

  7. 2 tablespoons honey

  8. 1/8 teaspoon cayenne pepper

  1. Chinese Country-Style Pork Ribs Recipe photo by Taste of Home Cut ribs into serving-size pieces; place in a in a 3-qt. microwave-safe dish with water, liquid smoke if desired and onion powder. Cover and microwave on high for 15-20 minutes or until meat is tender.

  2. Meanwhile, in a small saucepan, combine the remaining ingredients. Bring to a boil. Reduce heat; simmer, uncovered, for 5-8 minutes or until slightly thickened, stirring occasionally.

  3. Drain ribs. Moisten a paper towel with cooking oil; using long-handled tongs, lightly coat the grill rack. Grill ribs, covered, over medium heat for 4-5 minutes on each side or until browned, basting with sauce and turning occasionally.

  4. Serve immediately or cool ribs. Cover tightly with foil; place in a freezer container and freeze for up to 3 months.

  5. To use frozen ribs: Thaw in the refrigerator overnight. Remove from refrigerator 30 minutes before reheating. Place in a baking pan; cover and bake at 325° for 35-40 minutes or until heated through. Yield: 8 servings.
