  1. 4 Chicken - (to 6) - your choice

  2. 1 Onion - sliced (large)

  3. 1 Green bell pepper - sliced (large)

  4. 1 Small can sliced mushrooms - drained

  5. 1 Diced tomatoes with Italian seasoning - undrained

  6. 1 Tomato sauce - (14 oz)

  7. Salt - to taste

  8. Freshly-ground black pepper - to taste

  9. Oregano - to taste

  10. Basil to taste

  1. Put all ingredients in crockpot and cook on HIGH for 6 hours or on LOW for 12 hours (until chicken is done).

  2. Serve over hot cooked rice or angel hair pasta.

  3. This recipe yields 4 to 6 servings.
