  2. 2 large shallots , finely chopped

  3. 1 can(s) (28 oz) diced tomatoes in juice , undrained

  4. 1 can(s) (14 oz) reduced-sodium chicken broth

  5. 3 tablespoon(s) tomato paste

  6. 2 tablespoon(s) chopped dill

  1. Heat the oil in a medium saucepan over medium-low heat. Add the shallots and cook, covered, stirring occasionally, until tender, 4 to 5 minutes.

  2. Add the tomatoes (and their juices), broth, and tomato paste and bring to a simmer. Simmer, stirring occasionally, for 5 minutes. Remove from heat and stir in the dill.
