  3. 1/2 cup 118ml Red wine

  4. 1 cup 62g / 2 1/5oz Onion chopped (large)

  5. 1 teaspoon 5ml Dried sweet basil

  6. 3 Garlic - minced

  7. 1/2 teaspoon 2 1/2ml Dried oregano

  8. 2 tablespoons 30ml Tomato paste

  9. 1/2 cup 118ml Water

  10. 28 oz 795g Tomato puree Salt and pepper to taste

  1. Recipe Instructions Sauteeonion in oil until lightly browned, then add the garlic and sauteefor 1 minute more. Add all other ingredients and simmer 2 hours stirring often to prevent sticking.
