  1. 500 gram sausage meat (or sausages)

  2. 1 egg

  3. 1-2 tablespoons breadcrumbs

  4. herbs (thyme, sage, parsley, rosemary)

  5. garlic

  6. 6 large tomatoes

  1. Pre-heat oven to 200°C.

  2. Cut top of tomatoes off and save for later. Remove inside and put in a bowl.

  3. Mix sausage meat (if you have sausage, open them and squeeze the meat out), egg, breadcrumbs, herbs and chopped garlic together. If quite dry, you can add some of the tomatoes’ meat that you removed earlier.

  4. Fill tomatoes up with the meat and place the tops back on. Place them in a oven dish and in the oven. Bake for about 45 minutes to 1 hour.
