  1. 3 tb Butter

  2. Grated parmesan cheese

  3. 1/4 c Macaroni, uncooked

  4. 1/8 ts Black pepper

  5. 1/4 ts Dried mint leaves

  6. 1/4 ts Garlic salt

  7. 1/4 ts Salt

  8. 2 Beef bouillon cubes

  9. chickpeas, drained

  10. 1 cn (15 oz) garbanzo or 3 c Water

  11. 1/4 c Minced onion

  12. Minced parsley for garnish

  1. In a 2-quart saucepan, melt butter over medium heat.

  2. Saute onion until golden.

  3. Add water, garbanzos or chickpeas, bouillon cubes, salt, garlic salt, mint leaves and pepper.

  4. Bring to a boil.

  5. Stir in macaroni.

  6. Reduce heat.

  7. Cover and simmer 20 minutes.

  8. Serve topped with Parmesan cheese and garnished with minced parsley.
