  1. 1 head green cabbage -- shredded

  2. 2 medium carrots -- grated

  3. 1 medium green pepper -- finely diced

  4. 2 tablespoons onion -- grated

  5. 2 cups mayonnaise

  6. 3/4 cup sugar

  7. 1/4 cup Dijon mustard

  8. 1/4 cup cider vinegar

  9. 2 tablespoons celery seeds

  10. 1 teaspoon salt

  11. 1/8 teaspoon white pepper

  12. 1/4 cup Franks or Texas Pete Hot Sauce -- optional

  1. Preparation : Mix vegetables in a bowl. Mix remaining ingredients in another. Mix together and toss well. Cover and refrigerate 3-4 hours.
