  1. 4 tablespoons oil

  2. 1/2 onion, finely chopped

  3. 1 small green capsicum, finely chopped

  4. 1 medium carrot, grated

  5. 350 gm (12 ounces) bean curd (tofu)

  6. 2 tablespoons wholemeal flour

  7. 1 egg. beaten

  8. 100 gm (4 ounces) grated tasty cheese Salt and pepper Flour for dusting

  1. Method : Heat half the oil in a fry pan, add onions, green capsicum and carrot. Cook until onion is soft. Mash bean curd and add to fried vegetables. Add wholemeal flour, egg, cheese, salt and pepper. with wet hands shape into about 12 burger shapes. Dust in the extra flour and fry in the remaining oil until golden.
