  1. 1/2 cup warm water

  2. 2 1/2 tsp. yeast

  3. 1 tsp. brown sugar

  4. 1 cup soy milk (plain or vanilla)

  5. 1/4 cup oil

  6. 1/2 cup honey

  7. 3/4 cup cool water

  8. 2 cups bread flour

  9. 3 3/4 cups whole wheat flour

  10. 1/4 cup wheat germ

  11. 1 Tbsp. AP flour

  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees. In a small bowl, combine warm water, yeast and brown sugar; stir. Let sit 15 minutes. Scald soy milk. Add oil and honey; stir. Add cool water; stir. Add yeast mixture; stir. Stir in remaining ingredients. Let rise. Place dough in 2 prepared loaf pans. Bake 30 minutes. Remove from the oven and butter the loaves. Let sit at least 2 hours before serving.
