  1. Chocolate Panna Cotta

  2. 2 1/2 cups whipping cream

  3. 1/4 cup sugar

  4. 1 whole vanilla bean

  5. 1 tablespoon orange zest

  6. 3/4 cup Hawaiian Vintage Chocolate

  7. 2 1/2 sheets gelatin

  8. 1 tablespoon Godiva Liqueur

  9. In a small saucepan, heat the cream, sugar, vanilla bean and orange

  10. zest. Bring to a boil. Turn off heat and infuse for 15 minutes.

  11. In the meantime, soften gelatin in water. Add gelatin, chocolate

  12. and liqueur to mixture, whisking until chocolate is melted. Strain

  13. through a fine sieve into a bowl. Pour into four individual serving

  14. bowls. Refrigerate for a few hours until set.

  15. Serve topped with fresh fruits such as mango, papaya, pineapple,

  16. banana and lychee.

  17. Note: Hawaiian Vintage chocolate is available at The Compleat

  18. Kitchen and R Field at Foodland Beretania. You could substitute

  19. other bittersweet chocolate. Godiva Liqueur is a chocolate liquer

  20. available at liquor stores. You could omit this ingredient or substitute other liqueurs like Gran Marnier, Frangelico or Amaretto.
