  1. 1 1/2 cups yogurt -- (1 day sour)

  2. 1 pinch turmeric

  3. 1 stem coriander leaves

  4. 1 tablespoon oil

  5. 1/2 teaspoon black mustard seeds

  6. 1/2 teaspoon cumin seeds

  7. 1/2 teaspoon peeled black gram dal

  8. 1 pinch asafetida

  9. 2 green chiles

  10. 1/2 red chile salt -- to taste

  1. Preparation : 1. Beat yogurt.

  2. Chop green chiles finely. Pluck coriander. Add salt and turmeric to the yogurt.

  3. Fry mustard, cumin seeds. black gram dal, asafetida and red chile. Season.
