  1. 1/3 cup dry sherry

  2. 2 tablespoons soy sauce

  3. 1 tablespoon vegetable oil

  4. 1 tablespoon gingerroot -- finely chopped

  5. 1 teaspoon honey

  6. 1 garlic clove -- finely chopped

  7. 4 butterfly pork chops --

  8. 1" thick

  1. Preparation : Mix all ingredients except pork in shallow glass dish. Place pork in dish -- turn to coat with marinade. Cover and refrigerate at least 1 hour. Remove pork from marinade -- reserve marinade. Cover and grill 4-5" from medium coals, 14-16 minutes, brushing occasionally with marinade and turning once, until no longer pink in center.
