  3. granulated sugar

  4. juice of 1 lemon

  5. 3 tbsp water

  6. whipped cream,

  1. Method :

  2. Preheat the oven to 325°F/1 70 ° C/gas 3.

  3. Butter an ovenproof baking dish large enough to hold all the plums.

  4. Wash the plums, cut them in half, and remove the pits. Place the plums in the prepared dish, pitted-side up.

  5. Sprinkle with the sugar and drizzle with the lemon juice and water.

  6. Cover with aluminum foil and bake for 35-40 minutes, or until tender but still holding their shape. Serve warm with whipped cream.
