  1. 1/4 cup olive oil

  3. 2 (16 ounce) cans garbanzo beans (chick peas) drained.

  4. 2 teaspoons minced garlic

  5. 1/2 teaspoon salt

  1. Preparation : Drain and rinse garbanzos. Don't use the juices from the can in this recipe. It will muddy the flavor. Put all ingredients in a blender or food processor and pulse until ingredients are well mixed. If the hummus seems too thick, then add as much water as you need for the consistency you like. It should be similar to a bean dip in texture.
