  1. 4/4 Cake

  2. 4 eggs

  3. 250 gr sugar

  4. 250 gr self raising flour

  5. 160 butter

  6. 2 packages vanilla sugar (20 gr)

  7. Beat the butter, sugar and egg yolks till a homogeneous light

  8. mixture. Sift the flour and slowly add to the batter, stirring

  9. constantly. In a separate bowl, beat the egg-white until very stiff.

  10. Preheat the oven on 170 C. With a spatula, slowly and carefully

  11. add the egg-white to the batter. Grease a 21cm diameter round mould

  12. with butter and dust some flour over it. Fill the mould with the

  13. 3/4th filled. Bake on

  14. 170 C for 45 minutes, or : stop

  15. baking when you put a knitting needle in the cake and nothing sticks

  16. on it. After baking, remove immediately out of the mould and cool

  17. the cake on a tray.
